Paying your car loan through owner link
Anyone have their auto loan or lease with American Honda Motor?
I just setup my 'pay online' function in owner link and made my payment yesterday. The payment still hasn't gone through. My bank account hasn't been deducted and the payment hasn't registered on owner link. Anyone have anyone experience with this? Does it usually take a few days for the transaction to go through their system?

I make my payments thorugh ahfs (american honda financial services) and they say the payments can take up to 5 days to post. but usually you see the transaction go through in a couple days.
I never noticed how long it takes to update my records on there though. I'd wait maybe 2 days to see if anything updates on your account. And at that time if nothing has posted try calling them up. If your due date is nearby though, call them right away to voice that you have made your payment and it isn't showing up. So they don't dock you in late fees or anything.

Sweet thanks.
Yeah my due date isn't until the 20th so I've got over a week left. This is my first payment so I wasn't sure how long it takes for them to process the payment. Thanks, I probably have nothin to worry about.

As long as you pay by 5pm (pacific), you are credited that day, otherwise next business day. Sometimes payment authorization is almost immediate, sometimes it takes a week, go figure.
On a side note, it saves the expense of mailing a check!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm definetly not worried about it going through. I printed out my payment confirmation and I've got my transaction ID. I was going to do that phone payment thing, but they want 2 bucks per transaction, screw that shit. I'd rather do it online.

Mines setup so they take it out of my checking account every month. I never have to worry about paying it, or when it gets cashed. It gets taken out on the due date & if that is a weekend, it's the next working day.
I do pay most of my bills online though & never had a problem.
