i was washing my car today and i kind of tripped and fell into my passenger side mirror. at first it seemed fine after i got back into the car and readjusted it, it even angled down when i put the car in reverse but now it won't do that anymore. has anyone had a problem with their mirror not doing that anymore? i just bought this car a few weeks ago, is the drivers side mirror supposed to angle down too when the car's in reverse?

 

No, only the passanger side is supposed to angle down in reverse.

As to why it stopped angling down, not sure. Make sure the little slieder to select which mirror to adjust is in the middle. You may have broke the motor, but I doubt it as you would have known sooner probably.

 

yea the slider is set in the middle. i can still adjust the mirror just fine though...

 

I hit my mirror and the mirror popped out..i pushed it back in and it stayed in but doesn't go down on reverse anymore...
