Has anyone had this fixed? The dealership said they have to change the entire airbag assembly and they will do it for free. I don't really like having the dealer mess with such a major thing on my car, I prefer the factory fit. But, I wonder if it's dangerous that the cover is popping up like that.

Has anyone had this fixed? Has anyone experienced any problems with it?

Mine is doing the same thing in my new CL-S 6- speed. I am going to bring it to the dealer next week. I brought it in about a month ago and they tryed to tell me they adjusted something but it looks the same. Soo0oo Pissed!! Did your dealer tell you that they would replace it for free? What should I tell mine?

Yes, free of course, it's under warranty.

It can't be adjusted since it's all one unit (The cover + airbag).

i have the same problem, and it also is looks faded, but my dealer won't mess with it. OH, that reminds me, my rotors are warped again at 20K miles and they won't replace the rotors, only turn them! They said I should get aftermarket ones.

Well, I guess I'll let them replace it. Whatever..

As far as rotors, let them turn them... Then, when they warp again, they will have to replace them... Tell them to fuck off when they suggest you spend money on parts when your car is under warranty...
