Part # for AEM replacement Air filter -- HELP

Does anyone know which is the correct part # for our CLS/TLS air kit. They make a 3" long neck (21-103) air filter *and* a 3" short neck (21-203) air filter for 3" pipes...

There seems to be some confusion out there -- do you have a parts list to help me?

TIA

You can use basically either one. They were initially using the long neck filters but are now going to the short neck filters. Eric, for your app. I'd probably go with the long neck filter IMHO.

Thanks for the tip...

Nobody seems to want to carry the -103 parts and "everyone" seems to carry the -203 parts. I did hear that the airflow is identical *and* that they would eventually go to the 203 part. The info that is not clear, concerns any fitment issues...

I was also told that they would eventually "phase-out" the 103 filters. The question is -- will they change the existing pipe in any way with CARB regs and such...

As far as I know, the pipes will stay exactly the same. As far as fitment you should be okay, I was initially using the 103 then they swapped it out and put a 203 in and fitment was not adversely affected. The shorter neck basically gives you less room for error during production runs. They are now doing all the pipe work inhouse so they can keep production tolerances in check.
