Painting Calipers.... What Color???

Ok guys, I want to paint my Calipers.. Just not sure what color.

I think Red looks best on most cars, but pretty much everything I have added to my car has been Blue, so maybe I should go with Blue.

So what color do you think would look best...??

If you select OTHER please post the color you would recommend....

THANKS!!

I voted for blue. Since you mentioned that some stuff on the car is blue... I figured you should just continue that theme!!

1) close that wheel gap (someone had to say it )

2) go black...anything else just stands out too much against the silver.

The blue looks too much like Spoon calipers...and since you don't have Spoon calipers, I'd stay away.

Instead of painting, why don't you just get the brembos?

that was my reasoning...

I say go BLACK...

The reason is this: Your car is silver with stock rims, red or blue will stand out way tooo much... I understand that you have blue accents, but I assume thats in your motor, and how often do you look at the outside of the car and the motor at the same time!!! Go black.... Its clean looking and is better at reducing heat too!!

Silver

1200 High heat Paint. Where'd you get 12 Dollars ? 3 Bucks for Silver Paint @ Walmart. Mine Looks Very nice. Goes with the Cadmium Silver Color of the KVR Rotors. Hopefully my Rear Brembos are NOT too Far behind.

Actually I was debating painting the calipers on my car also. Since I was going for a blue theme...just things here and there...nothing too extreme...but I figured it was going to stand out too much...black sounded like a good alternative...but the only that has that so far that I know of is Shawn S and unfortuantely the pictures are not bright enough to show off the black calipers...so if <hint, hint> someone can take a nice bright shot of the those black calipers...I would greatly love to see it.

If you have a silver CL, you should go with black, but in my case, I have Aegean Blue, so I'm going to paint them red (to match the Type-S theme). Anybody against that idea?

Go with black. This is the one I used for my calipers and weathered wiper arms. I like the flat, but glossy would look good also. Less than $5/can at Home Depot.

If anything paint them a dark blue, but not red.

Red would get dirty easily,

I think its too much trouble to paint them. Whats the point?

Who's gonna be looking at your calipers?!

I think Shawn was smart to do it to his, because he isn't running stock rims.

But for stock rims, painting the calipers is just
