Wow this all sucks. Maybe the vendor you supported by paying them money will support you by getting matching mufflers. They'll have more pull since they deal with them than you will, being just one person. Last time this happened to me, different forum, different car, they went through 3 sets and hand picked matching ones for me.

As for mounting them and seeing what they look like, make sure you can still return them after they've been mounted.

I know exactly how you feel. Good luck.

If i waited for the vendor to get ahold of them, I would still be waiting. I have a feeling i will get stuck with these which is a shame and not worth my 600$ now imo. I will try to fight it and get a new replacement but I have a feeling that i will just throw these on for the summer since my stock mufflers are both damaged then ill just sell these for like 200$ off and buy the tanabe full cat when it comes out. I will never buy anymore new ct stuff that i know for sure(even tho there is nothing left to buy but sc and id only buy used, have ct header, muffler, icebox, stb.

I measured mine today. It's weird.
can itself L 14" R 14.25
Tip L 7.2 R 6.9

If you pay attention, you'll notice slight difference of length. It's not like big difference. so I just can deal with it. Did you install them yet?

My cans are both the same. If I line up the rear hangar closest to the tip it kinda does look like the can with the shorter tip does sit back a tiny bit further. I will be installing them at 10 am tomorrow and i will post all the pics after.

in this case, function over form won. and mandrel bent piping is very very very expensive. not worth the money to spend 1G on a mod that gains 5-7hp when i spent about 230 dollars and gained 10
so laugh all you want and ill continue rolling my eyes at guys who put staggered wheels on FWD cars and consider stretched tires good fitment.

madrel bent, tig welded vibrant stainless steel custom piping shouldnt cost 1k. I was quoted around 500 to install my cat, mufflers, and to get custom 2.5' piping with mandrel bends and tig welded vibrant stainless steel. I decided to hold off on that for now, maybe next year.

The mufflers are on and it looks like ct was right about the tip and fixture part. The tips seem to lign up. The left can sits further back than the right one that is why the right tip is longer. It looks fine and i am happy with it. i would think that they would make the tips and cans the same size then make adjustments to the rear piping, but it seems like they start at the piping and make the adjustments to the tip. I am gonna go for a drive then i will take pictures and post them after.
