damn, that looks nice! Very clean. I wonder how it would look painted with the actual Acura black paint?

I think I read here at a-cl.com that the guys below will mix up a spray can of paint based on the car's color code: http://www.towerpaint.com/index2.html Unless somebody else knows where to get Acura paint in spray cans.(?)

I used the same paint on my headlights and as far as you can tell, this color is almost the same as the actual Stock 03 lights, at 4 dollars a bottle

I would say about $100 for clearing...and then an additional 50-100 for painting cuz that is labor intensive...of course that is up to john......hes doing the sanding.

Fred, there's a place out in your hood called Space Age that will mix up any color and put it in a can. Ends up being about $10 a pop I think, not too bad.

BTW, my CV boot has been replaced. Fortunatey my friend had all the tools I needed (slide hammer, etc) and it only took a couple hours. Thanks again for the manual.

thanks Aaron. I know where that place is. Good timing too cause I almost ordered a can of black from Tower Paint today. Seeing how good the headlights above look makes me want to give it a try.

Good to hear things went well with the CV boot. Based on what the manual said, that job did not seem easy at all.

Those lights look awesome! Will the paint be able to withstand the heat?

Nice job

I had Adam aka Soopa "comissioned" :P to do a set of accord headlites for me, I was suppose 2 get them earlier this week but no sign of them yet. Once I do get them in, I'll post up some pics since I had Adam do them a bit differently then just regular black-housing

Soopa-- any word on when I will get these babies in? thanks

What kind of lights are those in the corner of the headlights?? They look way better than the orange lights.
And how much are those PIAA fogs, were they hard to install, cause i'm lookin to get a 03 and they dont have fogs.

Thanks

The paint I used is an interior/exterior paint from Rustroleum. It's been on my car for the last 2 moths and it's been hot here! The corner lights are 1157 type bulbs from Polarg (m12 bulb).

Those PIAA fogs I think are 150 brand new off ebay. The hardest thing was running a wire to the cabin and that wasn't really all that hard.

PPL, I want to do lights for local ppl first, since as part of whatever I charge for the lights, I will help you install them too. I have an extra set of lights, so I clear those and just do a swap out for your lights for my cleared, quick and painless.

WOHOOOO!!!!!

I just got my headlites this afternoon (02 Accord) Soopa did an AWESOME job on them-- he painted them black and cleared them out for me. The lites look completely OEM and as if they came w/the blackhousing from Honda themselves. Again Soopa, awesome job and lots of thanks.

P.S. If u cats on the east coast need someone 2 clear and paint ur headlites then Adam akak Soopa is the way to go. The dude just did an awesome job on my shit and I have no problems recommending him 2 anyone.

P.P.S. Wat can I use 2 clean the silicone off the front of the headlites, on the glass-- anyone have any ideas? Thanks

There is a place here in the Bay Area called TAP Plastics. They have a wax/polish just for plexiglass. Works great!!!! If you really want the name, I can get it.

Any car polish should work....otherwise, just scrape as much as you can and use the simple green.......
