Painted Calipers

I'm thinking of painting my calipers. What color would go well with a blue CL-s? Or any other color car, incase I ain't the only one looking for opinions.

Black or silver for stock calipers. Unless you have a matching BBK, IMHO, any other color looks tacky.

white will turn a different color pretty fast most likely, I painted my calipers blue on my blue honda civic and i think it looks pretty good, just dont get a really eye-catching color like yellow and you should be fine.

I had red for about a year then got sick of having to "maintain" it because everytime a technician removed the wheel they would either chip or scratch the paint. I've since then painted it black and have never looked back.

IMO...if I was to do this mod all over again, I'd paint my stock calipers to nothing but matte black.

Mine are glossy black.

I would go with grey on a blue CL.

Yellow -- blue and yellow compliment each other very nicely. (But it's a pain to keep clean and chip-free)

Thanks guys. I was thinking yellow, but I'm probably going to do black. The gray sounds cool too. Definately black or gray. I'll flip a quarter.

The Grey or Silver G2 looks good with the 03 Stock wheels. They blend in so there's no "WOW" affect.

The G2 is a decent paint system. I haven’t had any problems with chips, rust. There’s a nice gloss to them so the dirt and brake dust come off with ease.

thats why I decided to buy the g2 paint .. i've heard it never has to be touched up and is more of a shell than a coat of paint.

I don't know if it was babyblue, that had his Blue or Black CL, with yellow painted calipers, and it looked nice.

Yeah Red, it's a good system, very durable. I painted the Calipers on my Old Eclipse with their Red and always looked great, no fade, no chips. Just whatever you do, do not leave the top to the paint (once mixed) off for more than a few hours, or that shit turns into one big b*** of goo.

I don't know. The paint on here is over a year old

Will the G2 look this good?
