Paint protection

Does anybody have any experience with "ClearBra" or a similar product? That's the clear plastic sheeting you use instead of the conventional vinyl mask or bra on the front of the car. Does this stuff work?

Just got a new CL-S 6 sp and would prefer to not get it chipped.

I have it and it works great. It's pretty unnoticeable on silver, but I'm not sure about other colors. You just have to be careful when you wax around the edges of it.

My dealership installed mine for $500. I do 80 miles of highway a day so I feel it's a small price to pay for less rock chips.

My company Invisiguard has been installing 3M paint protection kits in the San Francisco bay area for about a year now. The 3M film is 8mil. thick and the headlight film we use is 40mil. thick. We have an excellent kit for the Acura Cl(hood, fenders, mirrors, bumper, and headlights) and would like to offer it to members on this forum in the bay area for $450 installed, or $250 shipped and I'll put you in touch with an experienced installer near you. Please feel free to write if you have any questions! Jeremy

When I bought my "S," I had them install "Tough Guard" over the whole care. I'm not supposed to ever wax my car. It does wash easy and the tar comes right off. It shines like a waxed car, too. But, it still chips from stones thrown from those shit-kickin' 18 wheelers.
