for a little over $200 you can get EBC slotted and dimpled front rotors and Green stuff pads EBC also.. Thats a GREAT combo I had it B4 the last time I did my front brakes I had to buy them in Autozone or Pepboys and spent the same amount (about $200 for front) for no name rotors the best the had in stock and the best ceramic pads they had in stock and the front rotors are WARPED after like 7-8 months!!
I remember when I first bought the car in 2000 Acura had to cut and re-cut alot of rotors cuz this car warped them so quick cuz its soo front heavy and alot of braking is done up front.. So unless u wanna have your rotors warp after 6 months get Roteras or EBC or DBA's just DON'T get some no name autozone specials cuz they WILL warp quick!

I WISH i had the money for it right now but I'm strapped for cash!
How much did both front rotors run you off rockauto shipped?
I know u get $ back when you send them you core (old rotors back)
but i doubt they will refund the money If you send them CL rotors? Correct?
BTW rock auto is the best site for EVERYTHING there prices can not be beat.
BTW do you know what year legend rotors everyone is using on there Cl's they might be cheaper and just as good!

I dont know what the have a Pep Boys or Autozone, but at places like NAPA and Carquest, they carry re-boxed Raybestos. they just slap the stores name on the box
in order for us to help you, you need to tell us price range

Ive had nothing but good luck with AutoZone rotors. Ive never suffered warped rotors from them. A few people I know run them on track cars with no issues (and we're talking prepped track cars).

Thanks for the comments. Sorry about the lack of price range. Id like to keep it below 400. If its recommended, Ill swap my lines and anything else that gets mentioned. Thanks all.

Honestly, Ive not run them on the CL. Ive run them on my Civics, Prelude, Accords, and Pilots. Most of the time its either Hawk pads (Civic, Prelude) or OEM pads (Accords, Pilots). Since the Accord is about the same size and weight, Ill compare it to that. I ran those for about 3 years I think. No warpage. Even if they do warp, theres a warranty on them.

After doing Alot of research I think I am gonna go for either the NSX or Legend caliper upgrade.. With the legend calipers I'm pretty sure they will refund me a CORE charge but i think if i buy the NSX rotors and send them bacl CL/TL rotors they will be pretty pissed..Did u send them your core's back to Rockauto to try and get some loot back?

Yeah i meant calipers.. Alot of people said that when they bought the legend calipers and returned there cl/tl calipers they got there core charge (like $60) back making this upgrade ONLY about $120 w/legend calipers but the NSX calipers look alot different so i dunno if that will fly if I send them back my calipers when they think they are getting NSX calipers back. If they take the CL/TL calipers the it would be like $160 for the nsx caliper if not it will be like $220.. So that is my ONLY objection on whether to go with the NSX calipers or the Legend daul piston calipers...

Yes. The 7th gen did. Honda has a problem with figuring out the smallest rotor they can run on a car, then downsizing it by an inch.

Which Hawk pads did you use? Which EBC rotors did u use? What do u mean by push them to the limit? I drive fast everywhere and wait to brake...is that similar to your driving style?
Do you know anything about the DBA 4000XS Series Rotors?

Hawk performance street pads and ebc dimpled and slotted rotors. I used them 1/4 mile drags, some street drags, country back roads with a lot of twists ans turns. 130+mph to 60mph to 0mph brakes. Probably nothing like u would do.
Never heard of those other rotors

Elija, I read and heard DBA 4000 are top of the line rotors the 5000 2 peice are better but they dont make them for our car.. I am still tring to figure out the difference between the dba street series and 4000 series they both use kargaroo paw technology but the street series are cheaper.
The only thing the street series DBA dont have that the 4000 series have are the heat strips but i dont really care hot hot my rotors get I'm not tracking or autocrossing it!
I think im gonna go with the DBA street series over the EBC but im not sure yet!

I used greenstuff with ebc slotted and dimpled rotors and it worked out GREAT, by far the best combo I ever had in my car.. I just got some EBC greenstuff pads on Ebay for $25 shipped so I am sticking with them and gonna pick up some DBA rotors.. Prob street series though!

I did like the EBC but I think its time for something different. I have heard ALOT of GREAT stuff about DBA lately from many different places , there is also a test on U-Tube where they took a WRX stock and did 10 stops and then put on DBA's and hawks and the braking was dramaticlly better and they da pedal did not get muchy like it did with the stock stuff I think they also used motul fluid though if u search utube its there!
