Owner Link

I just received information in the mail about a service called Acura Owner Link. Has anybody signed up for it? It will provide recall information, set up online payments and other service-related information. Thanks

Set up an account and input your vehicle's VIN. You'll get recall information and a lot of stuff that you can find duplicated in your owner's manual.

There is also a pane with a user input-able log for service. I've used this to maintain records of any service that I do myself (oil change).

Yep. It's also neat for those who lease or finance through AHFC. You can see current bills and account status including remaining payments, payment history and the current payoff figure.

Yes, I signed up with Acura.com for this too.

My latest message is “Your 2003 Acura CL is NOT effected by the transmission warranty update”.

I've been signed up but they don't even list the water-pump/timing belt recall on there yet!

I guess it's useful although I don't check that as much as I am on here.

Well if you put your VIN and your car is not one of the 1100 effected, it won't pop up....

I used the site to keep track of all my own maintance records.... Ex: oil changes, Recharge K&N filter, Tire rotation..For me, that is the only thing useful about it..

It's a nice feature... I keep track of all my records on a piece of legal paper and leave it in the glove box. But it's handy for recall/update/finance info.

Another good thing is the service request form. Very useful for service visits about noises

I had my VIN in their database and I know my car's in the cluster of VIN's affected. Hmmm...maybe I'll double check to see that I entered in the info. correctly. Regardless, I'll have the dealer look at the car soon since my 1st oil change is coming up.

I find this link useless... All things it mentions I already know from this web site or from owner's manual....
This is just another show off from Acura to make us feel we are special and that Acura cares about their customers.
