Overtightened oil plug bolt
Just curious...
would it be justified homicide to kill a mechanic who puts an oil plug bolt on incredibly tight, making it impossible to take off myself?
Im kidding of course , but I am very angry

WD40, if that doesn't work try that penitrating oil that is used on rusted/siezed bolts. I find that that penitrates better than WD40. And if u accidentally strip the bolt, not to worry take it to any reputable dealer, even Midas, Mineke, etc. and they will drill out the bolt and retap the plug aread and replaced the stripped bolt with a new one.
Oh and if that has to be done make them go the extra mile and remove the oil pan, drill, then tap. Flush the oil pann of any shavings and give urself a new oil change.

Twice I've had oil filters sooo tight I had to poke a screwdriver through it to remove. Huge mess.

After I HAD to do that once I went out and purchased the filter remover.
