there was a couple of times I accidently pushed my a/t into N and the rev just went 'weee wee weee' at the cut-off point.
I hope no damage was done...only a couple times on the freeway.

I thought thats our REV LIMITER was for?? to prevent things like this from happening..i dont know about the 6speed though.. our needle just bounces when you hit 7K RPM.. heheh. did that a few times...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH that RSX video is hysterical!!! you can actually see that Tach go waaaay past 9,000 and then the dude says "ohhh shit" hahahah that popping sound is horrible, man what a waste of a good car....is it just me or does that guy sound asian? something about his pronouciation of "oh shit" sounds totally asian.

6spd cuts off at 7300 RPM.
If you spend the $500 on stiffer valve-springs and titanium retainers... you valve won't drop in.
The problem is valve-float at high rpms... OR the retainer cracks and the valve drops.
FYI... the B18C motors (94-2000 GSR) had dual valve-springs on the intake side. Motor would not crack till 9K RPMS.

I like THIS comment.....
Acura should be relieved of any responsibility for less than able drivers mis-shifting. If ya can't drive a stick, get a base model with auto or a tricycle!

STiffer valve=springs or rods or retainers will not help on a mis-shift. This guy on that post said the replacement valvesprings which look the same to me and no thicker. ITts these idiots that mis-shift need to learn how to shift the car right.
