our car is basically a piece of junk

Maybe he is so busy trying to get his car fixed he does not have time to respond to his own post...
Look if you want to whine call the dealer!!
I would assume that you were hoping that we would all agree with you, but it does not appear as thought you have the support you were looking for.

this is my 2nd acura and still no major problems. I've had a few problems that were all resolved, and none have reoccured. (TSB on water pump and timing belt, brakes)
I may not be happy with the route that acura goes in terms of being too conservative on developing new and updated features for our cars, but Acura is still a reliable company.
Every manufacturer though has it's share of bad luck/engineering. Acura's still resolving their bad tranny issues.
What problems did you have? You have to realize though, it's not always the car's fault, it could be the way you are driving it. I'm not saying this is the case, but look at how many other acura owners haven't had problems.
It's either just a case of bad luck, or the fact that the mechanics that have worked on your car aren't experienced mechanics, or it could be the way you are driving it/taking care of it.
There are so many factors to consider, but most people are so quick to blame the Manufacturer.
I've been a happy acura driver for the last 7 years and i doubt that will change.
