My wife just totalled her 4 runner!

Thank god she is ok...

She was driving down galleria blvd. over the 65 overpass (for those of you who know the roseville-sacramento area) she came over the hill in the left lane and some lady coming the other way was doing an illeagal U-turn into her lane....

Needless to say she blasted her.... hit her so hard it knocked the other car over the median back onto the other side of the street.... Thankfully, two random guys that were driving in the right hand lane and saw the lady doing the u-turn stopped and called me and stayed for the police report.....

I think the 4-runner is totalled, there is some major front end damage... actually both are probably totalled.... the other car's trunk was in the back seat....

I forgot to take my camera, was too worried that she was hurt... but Ill get some pictures on monday and post em...

Worst part of the whole thing was the airbag in the 4-runner didnt even deploy... there is no way with that much damage that the airbag shouldnt have deployed....

I guess I have to take pictures and file a complaint with Toyota...

 

That sucks! Glad to hear she is all right. Not having seen the pics, but reading the damage descriptions that should have been enough to deploy the Bag(s).

Thank GOD she is OK!!!!!!!!! Hope she is feeling fine in the morning!!!! Its gonna be rough, that much damage is gonna hurt, physically. More important, she is still here!!!! Take good care of her!!!

Although, im not sure I will get the real value out of it... Its a 98 with only 31000 miles...

Gotta think what I am going to replace it with...
