OT: Intercoolers...

Can someone do a comparison for me of air to air and air to water intercoolers? Which is better for street use? Thanks guys ...

Edit: Oh yeah, how helpful is IC water spray?

I've had a bit of experience with both air to air and air to water intercoolers. My typhoon had an air to water and my miata, teg, rx7's and wrx all have/had air to air.

To simplify things, air to water is good for drag apps. where you are able to pour ice water in the intercooler during runs and air to air is more desireable for every day driving. Intercooler water spraying has shown to be very beneficial especially on tmic setups. I personally prefer a big fat fmic.
