Ordering the...

Comptech Springs and the SUPERCHARGER...

I am finally breaking down and ordering the blower. It will be twelve weeks for the twins this Wednesday so I will place my order on Thursday barring any horrific event. So the initial hurdle is over with and I can have a little relief (now will just worry about taking care of them when they come).

But after determining I will be getting it and then later evaluating that I will have no time to install it when they arrive, I felt that now is the time. Plus, I planned on dumping some stock that isn't doing anything so I won't dip into the remolding funds.

I will be documenting the install with my new camera and the information will be posted. This should be fun...

Scalbert,
Excellent although condering the circumstance perhapes a TWIN turbo setup would be more appropriate

I'll be going to Silver Dollar Raceway, the same track I ran in September, in April for some runs. This is another Import meet so it should prove interesting.

This time I will not be making it an overnight with luggage in the trunk. The spare and trunk carpet will be stripped along with rear spring blocks being installed.

Additionally, I will go to the dyno just after the install. There is a local dyno, brought to my attention by TOV, which has a $50 Thursday night.

Thanks Robb,

They are seemingly doing well. They are now taking on characteristics and some are distinguishable. As per the below pic (about 2 inches long now), this one has a similar profile to me; I do hope it is a boy...

And a little video from the last US:

Birth

It's so amazing... my sister had her baby last september... its hard to imagine how they grow and develop inside the mother and then turn out to be another human being... very wonderful to experience that!

With the order being confirmed on Thursday I would expect to get it in about a week; maybe a little longer since it is coming across the country. But if it does get here by late next week it will be on the following weekend. So by Feb. 8th or 9th I should be driving a blown CL-S6

Then maybe on the 13th I can dyno it...

Baby A was a bit faster at 172 BPM, she was the smaller of the two, just marginally though...

Let me second that.. Dean has been quite instrumental in getting me a very important piece of my project and that too in a timely manner and beyond what's required by anyone!!

Give it up Jim, I’m NOT buying one.
And if I decide to spend FIVE GRAND on any “toy” this year it’s gonna be the new Lexicon MC-8 that just came out.

Jim,

It’s not a Receiver; it’s a Pre-Amp.
That means you need to save a few additional grand in the budget for a couple of Amplifiers as well.

I digress……

Actually the OB/GYN is in Woodstock but is affiliated with Kennestone. We will be having the twins at Kennestone though.

heheh, as much as I would like to do this I won't have the time to install it this week. I'll be at Ciba Vision in Duluth, GA most of the week and then up in Herndon, Va. next week. So when I get back hopefully it will be in and I can install it. I've already downloaded the installation directions and read through them thoroughly.

BTW, where at in Atlanta are you going??

I’m pretty “good with tools”, but the blower is definitely NOT something I would tackle myself.

The Lexicon however I could do in about an hour.
