what do you guys think about installing Audi A6 projector lens into the 2nd Gens headlight housing? and maybe blacking out the housing.

 

why not use the one from the new TL?

 

I would have to buy the TL head light unit and rip out the projectors. I know someone who can sell me the A6 projectors separate. plus I'm getting 2 additional CL-S headlamps so I won't be without headlamps while the other are getting retrofitted with the projectors. I think they would look pretty tight on my CL-S with the blacked-out headlight housind the projector sticking out.

 

I think it would look pretty hot as well. Several people have blacked out their housings... but I don't know of anyone who put in Audi projectors... so that would be pretty cool.

 

I've looked at a place in Cali that does the retrofitting and another place in NYC. NYC is cheaper and they do the blacked out housing. I've been getting all 2gether this past week. It should cost around $700-$800 for everything, 2 additional headlamps, D2S bulbs, A6 lens, installation, and shipping cost.
