Opinions Needed
I recently got my front-end driver side repaired and replaced after my car was hit and run. It is an '03 3.2 CL-S. The shop replaced the driver side headlight.
I just noticed that the headlights are slightly different brightness. It is about a month since the car was in the shop. Should I bring this up with the shop, or am I being to critical? Any advice/comments are appreciated.

Here's what Acura told me when they replaced my invertor and bulb back in June or July I think it was...
As HID bulbs age, they color. The "blue-ish" color you see is actually the bulb aging or "burning in" as the service advisor called it. Even though it has been 7 or 8 months since I had mine was replaced, I still notice the old one is slightly more blue than the new one. If I pull up behind someone at night and I can see my headlights in the reflection of the car in front of me, I notice it. I also notice it as I'm walking away from the car if I leave my lights on at night. The advisor told me that eventually they will look the same but he said it shouldn't take that long. Honestly, unless you were really looking for it, you'd probably never notice so it's not worth it to me to take the car back to the dealershit for them to screw up something else in the process of replacing the bulb... again... 'Cause they will...![Why Me](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/whyme.gif)
Maybe you're misinterpreting this slight difference in coloration for "brightness"?
Just a thought.

Back to a MT!
ditto...same thing happened to me. Had an inverter (don't know they were inverting from DC to AC...but i guess they can call it whatever they want) replaced, they replaced the bulb. I was in a good mood so I didn't push having them change both, but up close you can tell the difference....for a distance they look pretty much the same.
