Opinion/identification

Hey everyone. I have been somewhat elusive since i first came here on the scene but am now trying to make some mods. First thing I wanted to do was some new rims... on a budget. I really wanted the 18” Satin Finished Ron Jon Servos but they have been hard to get a hold of. My second bet is to keep an eye on CL and find something worthwhile. I found these but cannot identify them, neither can the seller. They are 18x8” 5x114.3 offset not known yet. He said the center caps were bought when they were on an accord. They are asking 300 for them. What do you think about the chrome finish on a silver 03 CLS?

I think those rims look cool, but chrome really doesn't work unless you're 16.

Another negatory vote, though for something other than the chrome finish. Thin five-spoke designs lend a lot of exposure to your brakes, so if you're running stock or stock-sized hardware, all the civilized world will know that your sport-luxury coupe has weenie rear brakes. Not something I'd want to treat to more visual emphasis. . .

No chrome unless it's on a Cadillac and you specialize in providing evening companionship.

I would like to get some of the newer TLS gray mesh rims and a short 2" drop, but my CLS is a temporary affair.
