Intake, or drop in K&N filter. Not because of HP gain but it will save you money in the long run.

I love the power from the headers, but I am leaning more towards springs on this one. I say this because I can't stand looking at all the gap that are on cars, one of those things that drives me insane for some odd reason.

Headers.

My CLS is stock, but I've been thinking about headers (and icebox) for my first mods.

It really depends on what you're into. BLING or ZING.

if you have a money to burn get the supercharger, if not get comptech headers. Or for the price of the comptech, get obx or stone racing headers, aem/injen cold air intake, and a pair of magnaflows(they sound awesome). At that point you will be modded out.

"V1" it has to be the first mod,,, add up the money you'll save and then use that to buy other mods.

headers really don't transform the car into a new beast like the s/c does .. i guess if you wanna set $$$ constraints, i would say headers too, but in my experience, they weren't the huge difference in power that everyone had talked about

the type S engine has a very low mid-range ... and no spectacular torque.. that's why i think the s/c is key

Unrealistically - Full carbon fiber body shell w/ interior removal
Devoted - Supercharger
Realistically- Headers
Budget Minded - CAI

A CL w/ major weight reduction would eat a s/c CL.

I'm surprised to be reading all this. I think if everyone on the board were to take a survey about the CL/TL, they'd easily agree that the amount of power at the wheels is certainly adequate, and that handling and stability needs more work- given our FF layout as well.
You have to admit our cars come from the factory faster than most other cars on the street, but its aftermarket performance potential is extremely limited.. So you power hungry people can only go so far. Given that the one mod is free, of course the SC.. but for those who're gettin my drift here.. Right out of the factory, wouldn't you agree that
-tires
-springs/shocks
-sways
would be needed before anything else? Sorry bout the ramblin.. just my opinion.
