I bought a pair of MB QUarts 6x9's from them and out of the box one of the speakers was bad (blown). I called them and they said I have to deal with the manufacturer, after some whining they said I should ship it back to them and they will "test for installation error" (I had it professionaly installed and uninstalled :-) and I have to pay for everything (return shipping included)

I mean they shld take responsibilty of this, I can't wait a month for a replacement....damn

 

I've got a set of MB 6x9's I can sell ya. I've ordered subs from them and they were great. Shipping was free too! I highly recommend them.

 

i sell car audio myself on eBay and let me explain why they are probably making you pay for the return shipping and why they are going to test it.

when the customer gets the product, you have no idea how it was installed or what they did it. they all say it was professionally installed but how do we know? they'll say anything to try and get a free replacement. for all we know, they had their friend who claims to know what they're doing, hook it up and wire it wrong and fry the voice coil then tell them to say it was blown out of the box. chances are very rare that it was bad straight out of the box, but there is a SLIM chance so we give you the benefit of the doubt. if it comes back and the speaker smells like smoke thats an obvious sign of a botched installation job. customers try and do that way too often.

im not saying you did that or am in no way supporting onlinecaraudio.com. i just deal with the same thing and know what they go through.
