which one will it go on?

pics do the talking. either i will put it on my cl-s6 (dd as of now) or my tl-s which sits in front of my house trying to look good while being in 4x4 mode.

now the cl trunk has a hump on the top of it so i will have to figure out a way of keeping the lip down (cf is not flexible enough). the tl trunk is almost flat and the lip will be held on with 3m tape.

Curve looks closer to the TL's shape.

it fits overall better on the car.

I think it looks cooler on the cl. but in all honesty the shape is meant moreso for the tl. even still though it doesn't seat well which I would try and accomplish by creating a mold first and then using something to replicate that smaller slightly. then fiberglass over it to ur cf lip. match the clear coat by sanding it all down again unfortunately. then u could refinish it and it'd look mint

way too much work. then i wouldnt have cf if i put fg over it. i didnt spend teh extra $80-$100 for nothing. i think i know what im gonna do to hold it on. unfortunately that means i have to drill holes in my trunk. so i dont know if i want to do that or get the cf trunk and drill holes in that one.

I say the cl unless you plan on getting the cf trunk then wait or just put it on the tl.

Honestly either one is going to look nice. It's a subtle mod that most won't even notice.
Is this the VIS one, or another company? I currently have the VIS CF trunk on my car and am considering this lip spoiler too.
So I guess I would like to see how it looks on the CL's trunk. I'm sure you can get it to fit right with some heat and a little effort. Or not?
Btw my trunk does not fit right... So keep that in mind because I know you've been wanting one.

Rajca, i think you should skip putting a carbon fiber trunk on your cl and fit that on to it insted. Carbon trunks are weird, they just look like a body panel that wasn't meant for the car.

I had to heat and shape my M5 spoiler so it followed the curve of the trunk. I don't think that can be done with Carbon Fiber - thus my vote for the TL.

It probably won't be as noticable with a CF trunk lid.

Looks good on the SSM,Just got to get the ends down.
And definitly go with the CF trunk on the cl,It will match your ride perfect, besides less weight = faster cl.

u can see that the driver side corner is popping up a bit. so maybe if i add heat and more double sided tape it might work.
