In comparison of the first kit and the second kit, i thought the second kit had the weird fins on the front bumper... i don't remember seeing those on the first kit...

so that goes back to the question.. "Is the kit going to be the first one or the second one?"

The kit will be made out 4 layer of fiberglass, all hand laid, no pin hole, no air bubble stick in fiberglass.... Almost unbrekable unless you hit a wall, or somethin hard.

The kit comes primered, not painted... you need to find a body shop to install and paint it... allow approx 500-700 for paint + install in your local area.

The kit is approx 0.150" inch thick, witch is very thick... most of fiberglass kit in the market are 0.050" to 0.075"

Other question...??.. time to ask!

Yes I was looking at this..... that why I asked you about a design... we cannot manufacture plastic...! But we can do a similar part in fiberglass that will clip on the bumper...

for exhaust hole. its almost impossible to make the same as Sema, cuz everyone have different exhaust... we need to make an round or square hole at the bottom of the kit... and not the shape trapeze of the sema..... is the cl double exhaust oem ??

For the fin on the side, we can patch them for free, its really easy to do when we place the fiberglass.

Here all informations:

Kit = $999, or $899 with your $100 deposit for a 6 piece kit
Shipping = slow method = 8 week = $160
fast method = 4 week = $220

this include, box, duty, shipping, handling and packaging. No other duty tax to pay, its included.

And they are new bumper.... not bumper cover

We do not offer painted parts before shipping. You can find a shop in your local easy.

Nokio: the kit is not 2k$. Its far from there, the kit itself is $999 and $160 shipping!

Guys.. any decent body shop should be able to paint the kit for around $500. That would bring the total of the kit to around $1500. Installation would be additional of you could do it yourself.

For those who didn't read any of Soopa's links or the replies from the other members about the SEMA spoiler but are still asking about it.... there is a seperate group buy set to sticky here in Car Talk for this: http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...threadid=87876

guys, at the beginning of this thread i posted a link to another topic with ALL the info your asking for.

please post questions in that thread. this topic is for DEPOSITS ONLY.

all of these questions have already been answered.

for the one question that wasnt answered in that topic.

BOTH SEMA CL's had the two gills on the front bumper. its just the first CL was less noticeable because it was dark colored paint and I didnt have any shots of the gills.

regardless, this is not my kit, im not making it or selling it. I'm just giving us a central place to collect deposits for our own protection.

WE, meaning, all of us at acura-cl.com have are in charge of approving the final design. I'm sure we will hold some sort of poll or something before ONDERGROUND goes into production with the final design.

right now the target is AS CLOSE TO SEMA AS POSSIBLE.
