Once again, tire question

Looks Like I am going to have to buy new tires, so I guess Im gonna dump my back two tires with a pretty good amount of tread left.

Reading all the posts from searching becomes annoying and confusing with everyone's different opinions. Here is the question, and Im looking for a bottom line answer.

1) What tire size is the best for performance/handling for a 2003 Cl Type S on stock rims. Also how much will it throw off the odometer and speedometer.

2) What tire is closest to load rating, has good treadwear, is same or quieter than stock tires, performs excellently in dry and wet weather and is pretty cheap.

Thank you! And if anyone is interested in purchasing my back two stock Michelin tires, they have plenty of tread left, I can look later and see how much, but tell me ur interested.

What do you all think of 235/45/17 Continental ContiExtreme contact. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....ExtremeContact

looks excellent with good tread life.

Get 235s....Yokos, Sumis, Toyos, etc..

Treadlife is always questionable so don't take the numbers they provide as actual life.

You're going to get a bucket load of answers here...no real way to narrow it down.

If you're looking into Ultra/All season... Yokohama makes a damn good tire. I've had 4 sets on these on diff cars.

basically i want 235 size with stock rims, excellent treadlife after this 8800 mile front tire worn down episode, excellent handling in dry and rain, I dont want those squealing tires like our stocks.

Those Yok's are pretty quiet.

Actually, I bought the cheaper ones...they weren't even that expensive. They were AV's, but only about $105 each. Nice tires.
