OMG well my house is 4 miles from my work (1 highway exit) and usually takes about 5 min to get home. well today was different. As soon as i jumped on the highway I see a white m coupe. even before I do anything this guy wants to play.. he shakes his steering wheels and jerks his car in front of me. Well my uncle had the M verion of the Z3 which is basically the same thing w/out a roof so I knew the potenal of these little rockets. its about 7:00 pm on 495 so too much traffic for high speed so we just weave in and out of traffic for about 6 miles.
Well I take 395 to take the longs way back to my house but OMG this time I see a silver m3 convertiable (e36) a black vr-4(twin turbo btw...) and a fooken silver slk amg!!!! can it get any fooken betteR??? the silver amg I know the nova/md/dc people seen cause it was at the tyson's meet. but anywayz im now about 7miles out of my way. all of us weaving in and out of traffic going may be 90mph tops. We all end up driving all the way down to DC which is another 12 miles and call it quits. OMG this was sooo kick ass!!!

I only had the lead for may be 1 mile at the most. mostly it was the vr-4 taking the lead...

And now I just got home.. my trip home today took 1 hour instead of the usual 6 minute. hehe

Doesn't a stock 300ZX Twin Turbo go 0-60 in about 5.2-5.4 seconds? My friend from college had an automatic and that thing was waaay faster than any CL-S I've seen, especially at highway speeds.

A new Stock M roadtser would spank a mod'd CLS (older one would be closer as it's only 240hp vs. the new ones 315hp)

and

A stock VR4 would definelty spank a mod'd CLS.

both low 13 second cars...

I've seen stock a M roadtser (2001, 315hp) run a 13.1

And the VR4 was 320hp in its stock form.

Yeah, in fact it was 5 flat, and even though the auto had 280h.p they were just as quick. No loss of boost going through the auto.

We didn't race off the line, it was from about a 20 roll, all the way up to ~120. At one point, I slowed up and let him get right next to me, to see how I'd fare.


The headers + intake saved me. A stock CL would've gotten spanked.


Once I get my new tires I'd be curious to see how I could do against one off the line.
