Okay, once for the record! Polarg M6 Bulbs...

fit like a jewel in the "road" lights. I can't believe anyone has had any problem whatsoever getting these in. Here's my experience..... I have replaced my stock bulbs with PIAA 19169's so I replaced them from underneath. This time I was going to use the "Acura" method (removing the fixture). Well, I unscrewed that screw for what seemed like forever and it would never come out. I abandoned that method and went back to the tried and true way of squeezing my hand in from underneath. This is made easier by prying the pop fitting out and sliding my hand up behind the light fixture. The bulb came out and I replaced it with the new Polarg M6 and there was NO fitment problem whatsoever. They are much brighter than stock ot the 19169's. My recommendation...do it.

yo man, is there a fitment problem with the polargs?

are these for the high beams or road lamps?

if it's for the road lamps, how did you get to it?

just kidding.

I just ordered my polarg today. I knew 169s were better than stock but I just blew one out yesterday, why not try polarg?

Since I have a black car, I will want to soon try yellows, too; just like Soopa.

Can someone post a link where I can order the Polarg M6's. I have the Piaa's but they are very dull. Are the Polarg's much brighter?

So you put the M6's in the road lights?! I have the M4's which are the same as stock (5 watts). These look sooo much better thans the stock "golden" lookin ones. they give it a nice clean white look. How bright are they compared to the M4's?

The screw is designed not to come out, it just comes off the retaining clip and is restrained on the housing. If you didn't tighten it; the housing will pop out when you hit a bump. To remove the housing after the screw is loosened just give a push to the backside of the housing, it works "trust me" detailed pictures are in the Helms manule.

The M6's are 18W so yes they are considerably brighter. They are still of no use in lighting the road but they are brighter. The next thing I want to do is to wire them into the parking lights instead of just headlights.

I got a copy of the page from Shawn S' link and you are right but I could never get it to release. I tightened it back up and went in through the back. It was much easier. I changed the stock bulbs with PIAA's the first time through the rear but because there were "reported" problems with bulbs breaking and what not I wanted full access. It turns out it wasn't necessary and it changed easily. It's tight again.

What can I tell ya, Joe? Been too freakin cold to crawl under there. Beautiful day yesterday, so the snows came off, summer wheels went back on, and she got a wash job. Now all I need is a destination!

The cheapest place I've seen the Polarg M6's is www.speedwerks.com . They are $6.39 each and shipping is about $5. Just search for Polarg M6 and you'll find them.

I got mine a couple of days ago and installed them today . They are looking pretty tight, not fitting problem, they are big , but they fit throught barely.

However the manual says that the plastic undercarriage part is supposed to come off, mine sure as hell dont, but the screw came right out. and so I just held it back and replaced them . Piece of cake.
one comment though, those black tabs suck so much a##. Who the Fu%^ decided on those. Why cant they use screws, I almost broke them all off. But it is all back in one piece and looking damn good, cant wait till it gets dark so I can go out and admire them .

I just put in the M-6's today also... went in from underneath, it was a snap.

Damn those babies rock! Too bad I accidentally ordered 3.

Any Ideas where I can stick this 3rd one?

It might fit in the trunk. I just put the M4 in the trunk this weekend. It won't fit in the dome. The dome is kind of like the buss fuse design. They do make a super white for it. Looks much better!!!!

Or maybe the puddle light in the lower driver side door.
