alright guys,

I need your help and opinion.

With my recent purchase of a 330I manual (traded in fiance's car), my 1998 Integra GSR (hooked up with mods) is just not the same any more. Exhaust is too loud now, ride is too stiff, it's too small, not enough power, etc etc etc. Things that I did not mind before is starting to annoy me.

I use to love the GSR, but the 330I has really raised the bar.
So, I am now in the market for a nice 2dr.

Before I dig into the cl-s, is it true that they're making a manual?

If so, what kind of aftermarket support do we currently have?

I really like the price and features of the CLS. I think if modded right, it should look pretty damn good.

There are some contradicting reports as if or when the 6 speed will be released, but there have been official Acura releases regerding the release of a 6 speed manual CLS. You can do a search on this forum and find out more.
Regarding aftermarket parts, there is a good selection now with more parts and manufacturers getting into the action. Some of the things you can find now are:
headers, exhausts, springs, shocks, intakes, interior trim kits, rims, sway bars, strut bars, brake lines, full replacement brake kits and more.
The CL is a pretty good looking car and a very good value, IMO.

Good luck.

supercharged manual maxima...whoops, i said the "m" word of course i would choose the 6-speed cl over the maxima anyday, whenever acura decides to release it...but i'd take both cars into consideration

also look into the wrx, lancer and sentra se-r, even though honda is better

a used itr would also be nice!
