oil paint on leather seat :(

I got a smidge of white car paint on my drivers side black leather seat. It is very very small, not even an inch long, but it bothers me.

Any easy way to clean it off? Looks like it is on there for good.

Dont wanna ruin the leather !!

Otherwise i'll go back to the body shop and have them remove it. Just didn't wanna drive out there again. I already called them and they told me that they would take care of it, but it means time off from work.

thanks

Awesome

2 weeks ago I got Blue ink all over the back of the drivers seat, from the pen failling out of my pocket. I tried everything and the bastard ink was not budging. I have the Tan interior so you could easily see it. I had to get it of.

A while back my Girlfriend had bought a product called AWESOME, its a all purpose concentrated cleaner, degreaser, spot remover. Its one of these AS seen on TV products. Funny enough she bought it in a $1 store. You mix it with water and spray it on the spot.

It has the saying on the bottle spray on ....wipe off. Within a few wipes the Ink was completely gone of the seat, no marks and looking the like there had been no ink there in the first place.

I also used it on the Arm rest as mine was looking dark, sprayed it on there, and it looks brand new. The difference was amazing.

Btw it has no acid, no ammonia, no bleach, non-flammable.

I also used it on the Floor mats too, they look brand new.

I was worried about ruining the color of the seat, thinking it was going to make the seat look lighter. But this has not been the case. I don't know WTF is in it but it has worked.

If some one told me it cost $50 to buy and it was going to get the ink out, i would of paid double but it only cost a $1 lol ....

Whatever it is, its amazing............and it works

It says on the bottle it will paint out, if i was you i'd try and find it.

You can try mineral spirits on a rag. However i'd be sure to wipe down the seat with some water and leather care products after your done.
