Oil Jet Kit and Good CS at Acura by Executive
I've seen all the horror stories of customer service at local Acura dealers but I just wanted to post about the great customer service at Acura by Executive in North Haven, CT. Keep in mind my car is not stock, but it is not that highly modified. I have CT Headers, Intake, Tein SS and ROTORA rotors. The service reps nor the mechanic had a problem with the mods b/c they realized the tranny has issues despite these modifications.
Either way they met me immediately, took the car in immediately at 8:30 AM and by 9:30 AM I was out of there with my new oil jet kit installed. The mechanic who I requested, Tony, was helpful and was first-rate. The problem I was having with the idle he checked out, and fixed by just adding some intake system cleaner through the TB and checking the idle screw. He also scanned the system, and they did this all for free. The service advisor were also top-notch. Just to reconfirm what I already knew, I had them check to see if there was any warranty work done on the car before I had owned. I wanted to know if there was a new tranny in there. So the rep did some research and showed me what was done; the only thing was that the rotors were re-surfaced.
So all in all to Acura by Executive.

Congrats, I just posted a thread on the poor service our new dealer in town is giving me.
So maybe now back to the other poor dealer here. oh well. I'd get a Lexus just for the service if they made a coupe I wanted.

Oil Jet Kit and Good Cs at Acura by executive
I had my first experience with Acura by Executive in 1998. The car was a 3.0 CL which I traded in for a 2001 CL Type S. My tranny went at 23k and the car had to be towed from my home to the dealership. I think I got a new transmission and for the duration of the stay at the shop I was given a brand new TL loaner. Though the distance to Executive is too great for me to go there for simple maintenance, (A Honda dealership is approximately 1 mile from my residence) any major service item is performed by Acura by Executive as I find them very competent and courteous and their services reasonably priced. So for the past 6 years my experiences with them has been all good. I too have some mods installed but would like to change my suspension setup for Teins as that setup seems more flexible to adjustments. Any input on this would be appreciated. Please check my car out at http://members.cardomain.com/ctblackrider. Thanks.

Hopefully your tranny doesn't go now since you had the oil jet kit installed.. fellow members like myself had the tranny die with a day to 3 wks after the oil jet kit installed on their original tranny. Best of luck, and glad to see their are dealers who give great service.

I don't think I got an oil jet kit, I believe my tranny was replaced, since it took 4 or 5 days for the installation. I also received the 100k warranty from Honda. Since the replacement I have added approximately 14k.

My 98 V6 accord with 4AT is starting to make goofy noises in the tranny (only when park or neutral).
I think my problem directly relates to the tranny problem I had with my 99 TL.
