Oil drain plug size and switching to synthetic
I keep forgetting if the oil drain plug is 3/8ths, and I don't have tools here (only at my parents) so I'd just like to verify it's a 3/8ths slot on the drain plug before I jack the car up.
Another, i'm switching my girls accord over to synthetic. Do you feel I need to run a quart straight through it prior to filling it up? Meaning should I run a quart straight through the motor and out right away to help eliminate some of the old oil. I did this w/ my CL when I switched to synthetic, but didn't know if it was necessary.

Also, I do not see any reason to do this.....I went to syn w/o doing it.

I'm smart enough to give these guys a few days advance
plus it take forever to set my car up to jack it ups ince it's so low
Synthetecs burn better, last longer, and are better for the engine. 50K is not to late.
