Oh my gosh – Acura updated their Website

Looking through the specs, this really interested me:
"The CL Type S suspension was stiffened to be more responsive and to give the driver a more immediate sense of the road surface. In front and rear, the Type S uses stiffer springs, higher damper compression and rebound damping. In a CL Type S with 6-speed manual transmission, the weight savings allow for shorter front springs, which help to lower the front profile slightly. A larger-diameter rear stabilizer bar helps reduce body roll during cornering, and longer bumper stops give the CL Type S a sportier feel.
Hmmm... Lowering with wide tires and wheels with less rub

Dammit!!! I've been hitting their site every day just to check on that! I wanted to be the one to post it. I figured, I don't have any other useful information to share...

There is one for the 6-Speed & one for the Slush-Box.
He’s checking with Comptech to see if the 2003 takes the same springs as the 01/02 models.
Sways are the same.

Burn some dust here
Glad I didnt wait on this. Plus that extra $5G I saved is feeling really really good right now. Will never figure out why the left the wood trim for the damn cheap-looking alumishit. The 6sp is cool, but that car just doesnt look that good to me over the past 2 years.
BTW, that ANTHRACITE IS BADASS. Ill still take the silver though

Maybe I missed something - in the 2003 did they get rid of all the chrome? I was thinking I preferred the interior of the 2003 (didn't like the black bowling ball look), but as we are looking at black I like the look of the chrome in the 2001 and 2002 models.

Wow, the Impala and the CL do look awfully similar from the front.
I'm glad to say that we don't have that ugly black horizontal trim.
Unfortunately, the biggest difference I see between the pics is that the Impala has fogs.
Like we want an impala driver to be able to say "well at least I have fogs."

Well, i can see that they officaly got rid of the black wood "bowling ball" trim, which sucks, cause i was one of the few who actualy liked it......any chance though that the 01-02 black wood would fit onto the 03....i meen the radio area and the gauge cluster are all the same size i assume, so it should still fit right???? Anyone want to help me out figuring this out?

I don't know if anyone else noticedthis, but way back when there was a picture of a PDG CLS on the Acura website also with "special" rims different from the typical car.
I don't understand what it means.
