offset with 17's

I know most people are going to 18's or 19's but I want to keep with a 17" wheel. With a conservative drop (comptech probably) can I fit a 17x7.5 with a +43 offset?

I have 17X8 with a +50 & 235 tires & a CT drop & I don't have any problems. +43 might be too low. If they had a +45 I'd get that.

Anybody else running aftermarket 17" wheels with lower offsets?
