Off topic/shot in the dark/road info?
Going to Death Valley for a few days of R&R next week. Anyone know the road conditions going in through Wild Rose Canyon north of Trona, CA? Both the CHP & San Bernardeno Sheriffs department dispatchers took my phone number and said they would check but I never received a call back.

If I recall correctly, the road from Ridgecrest through Trona is SR178. When I click that I get:

Thanx guys!
I knew about the Cal Trans site, but the AAA map I have does not show a Hwy # for the Wild Rose Canyon cutoff. Just checked MapQuest and it shows it as 178.
