sorry can't help you here, but I have my own quick question: What does OEM stand for? I used to think it was a company, but on recent reading it stands for something and I can't figure it out...

The Resonator box is held with two bolts. Here's a link to the Icebox installation instructions. On page 2 there's a picture of the stock box and the two bolts you need to remove to release the box.

Just go in reverse order.

Yeah, its called the resonator...
You're probably better off leaving it out... Lots of people have going w/ the K&N drop in filter and removed the resonator as a cheap alternative to the CT icebox. Might not see the improvements that the icebox offers, but having the K&N drop in and removing the intake resonator is probably a better bang for the buck...

It does increase the sound a little but it's not anything anyone will notice.
For the stock piece... It fustrated me also. I just left it off when I had to turn my leased 02 in.
Just leave it off. Your not going to fail any emmissions thing, & any Acura dealer you go to will not even know it's not supposed to be that way.
If you really want it back on then do as suggested & look at the IceBox instructions & see if you can get it in there. Oh yeah you may need the metal crossbar on the top portion. In the CAI installs it gets taken off.
