Odometer Calibration Off?

Odometer Calibration Off?
I seemed to have come across something odd with my CL and the odometer. A few weeks ago I drove from Charlotte to DC in a Pontiac Grand Am - the trip tracked in at 395 miles door to door. I just did the same trip the other day in my CL and noticed the mileage was adding up faster than the Grand Am. I zero'd out the secondary trip odometer at mile mark 103 on I-95. I exited at 163, so it should have been 60 miles. But the trip odometer was at 61.5 miles.
The primary trip odometer came in at 412 miles - 17 miles higher than with the grand-am for the same trip.
Sooo...I haven't modded the car at all at this point. Stock rims - with replacement Yokohamas - but the same overall diameter - they are slightly worn at this point but i cant imagine the odometer would be adding 2.5% extra mileage. Has anyone else seen this?
One more note - my friend has done the same trip from DC to Charlotte in his 328is and his trip comes in at 395 as well.
Anyway after this rambling setup - with 50K miles on the car, i figure about 1500 miles are phantom - do i even bring this up to the dealer? if the odometer is messed up i dont want to have that tagged onto the title - it will kill the already depressed resale value of the car- although i have no intention of ever selling it.

Maybe the Grand Am's odometer is off...
Try checking both against a measured mile on the highway... (1 mile @ 60 mph should take 60 seconds on a stopwatch).... or borrow someones GPS to check...
