THere are some quality problems and fitment problems with the OBX headers from what I understand. The Comptech headers have had no problems like these, and their new ones fit both the 6speed and the automagic.

Not true if you're talking about Comptech as they now have one part number which fits both auto and 6-speed.

Best thing to do is a search as this topic has been discussed many, many times before.

I have the OBX. Self installed July 2003 without any problems. The fit was tight, but I believe it should be. It took me almost 7 hours for the install, but I had never done anything like this. Ive read about quality and fitment problems, but I have experienced none.

And, for the money, the added power is wicked.

You will gain 20-30 hp with the headers depending on the car and other mods, so the headers are a worthwhile mod for the CL but I personally would stick with Comptech, with OBX you are asking for trouble.

I gotta say that the quality and fitment of OBX really sucks but you get what you pay for. I have a feeling I'm getting a leak from one of the flanges but haven't had time to check. The holes are tight and should be opened up more and my 02 sensor is really close to the oil pan. Other than that, they are ok. If I had the extra loot I'd go w/ comptech

the only dyno Ive done is the two-cheek version.
HOWEVER, my buddy has an 2000 s4... before headers, from a 60mph roll, he'd pull and pull and pull. now, from a 60mph roll, he gets a half car-length in 2nd and I start to pull in 3rd.

my only mod is the OBX headers. I have the 2001 AT. it is red though, and I hear the red ones are faster
