Here is a picture of 2-3 month old OBX ceramic headers. I got the pic from edgalang on the TL board.
HERE is the post it came from.
I'd be fuming if my 2-3 month old headers looked like this.

the ceramic isn't rusting, it's being chipped away by road debris, and peeling from heat, then the steel underneath is rusting.
obviously they did no durability testing. nice job, obx.

Then why get CC instead of SS for the same price? I don't know why people would get CC OBX and then complain about it when they could of got SS instead. I got my SS for 6 months now and still looking good.

I was the first one to get these. No one had it before me therefore no one knew shit about it. And it came very highly recomended by a TLS friend of mine. Guess he didn't know shit about it either. So, now i am suffering. yeah for every one out there do not buy the CC OBX headers. They work just as well as the SS ones as u can see from the dyno results but their durability sucks.

I have had by OBX Headers for about 5 months now, and they look as shinny as the day I but them on. Not a single visual imperfection other than the expected change in color from silver it a gold/bronze color......just like all the other SS headers.
They are just little bit louder than the comptech's, but its only a slightly louder resonance sound. But then again, I definitely don't mind my car sounding like a V8. People always ask me what I modifications I have made to the car, cuz it sounds mean....it grumbles like a monster! I love the look on their faces when I tell them its only bolt-on's.

Comptechs are not much better!!!! mine are thermal wrapped so there is no real rust noticeable, but the head mounts are rusted to fawk!!! so be it... just paint them with rustoleum prior to install... a nice flat black or something.. HEADERS are for POWER not PRETTY!

Look, first set of CC headers were peeling so i returned those. The second set, now after 3 months are rusting. And yes, they are being driven on saltly and snowy roads of philly ever since later november. I guess, ceremic with salt and snow does not mix. Well at least the OBX ceremic. Point is, DONT BUY OBX CERMIC. Go for the SS one cause those are a lot better. I was the first one to take the risk and well i suffered so now i am saying this for the entire cl, tl, acurainspired and ********** forums. This if for all your benefit because this information was pretty expensive to obtain from my behalf. So don't complain and move on with the SS OBX headers and drop the fricken CC ones from the face of this planet. Ok guys. thats it
thanks
thanks
