note they say that the car is terrible off asphalt...but never mentioned how the competition was off asphalt.

I saw this; they did say after much BS that this suv was rated as their number one pick. And also being inside this was better than a mini van??? They showed it flopping thru the woods like it was a Jeep.??? And then admitted only 5% of people use them this way.

 

Yeah I thought it was funny how they seemed to be putting it down by saying its a mini van in many ways; however, made it their #1 pick of the year! The host seemed happy to drive it though...took off kinda fast at the very end..or it seemed like he did.

I saw the show more than once actually (we will probably be buying this SUV for the wife). I disagree that CD was putting the Acura down and all that. They were very objective on the statements they made and in my opinion they hit the nail on the head with the description in general. They actually called Acura as "smart" for following this receipy because they are the only ones that managed to create a better package than the competition for less money.
