I live to drag race! That long of burnout is really hard on drivetrain. Glad nothing blew up!

Well first of all.. you get 2 broom sticks.. stick 1 on each side of the front rim inbetween the spokes... make sure you get it wedged in there real nice and tight with the lower control arm... (this will keep the front wheels LOCKED)...

Then jump in the car... Rev up to about 5K in Neutral, dump it into Drive (so the tires start spinning)... then smash the gas to the floor....and burn them some-ma-na bitches from sunrise till sunset.

WAaaalaa

P.S. I bet you wish you could DELETE your post, because this is just the beginning of your beating....

I must add........ make sure the broom sticks are solid industrial strength steel, and depending on the vehicle....if its a v8 you definately wanna rev it to at least 9500 rpms before dropping it into drive!

the front brakes do almost all of the work to stop a car. you hold down the brake, the fronts grab tight. then apply the gas. even though the rear brakes are applied the engine easily has enough power to overcome them. the back wheels start to spin and your smokey burnout ensues. it's called power braking.

just don't try it w/ fwd.

I hate to admit . . I did something like that in the middle of an intersection once . . I was a young teenage jerk at the time and was pissed off at a guy that pulled out in front of everyone . . . then blocked the intersection so no one could go. After a minute I powerbraked and filled the intersection so everyone had to stop and then I went through. :o

Of course this is easier with a line-lock . . . . which I did not have . . . just some serious power . . . tires were only like $30-$40 back then so I really didn't worry about new tires every 6-12 months . . . :P

I highly doubt that he used the brake pedal at all. He most likely had a line-lock that only locks the front brakes. But if he did use the brake pedal, he must have had the rear brakes very loose because he would have had a warped rotar by now.

And if I was to see some 18 year-old doing that. All I would have to say would be "yeah, he's cool..." I wish my 81 Ford pick-up rusty old work truck could do that. Oh wait it can...
