you can rotate it and it will work fine, just the bleeder screw will be in the wrong spot, I suggest getting a vacuum bleeder kit.

wont wont. bleeder screw will be on the bottom. and ull have an air pocket on the top. not sure if u can do this, but drill and tap a hole and put in a bleeder screw so u got one on top and on bottom, that way u can use the caliper.

or u can do this.
left nsx caliper goes the the right rotor
now since u still got another left caliper, put that on the left rotor but do not bolt it down. put it 180deg from the oem bolting position, bleed it, then take it off teh caliper adn bolt it down where u would normally bolt it down. that way the bleeder screw is still on teh bottom but all the air is out.

I'm not sure on the NSX calipers, but on the legend calipers have different size pistons so they are made to work one direction, and can act funny if put on backwards. You might want to check the diameter of the pistons, if different, don't mount it on the wrong side, will cause your braking to get worse, not better.

I am about to pick up some front 96 nsx calipers, what pads do you currently have in them, would they fit pads from the OE calipers?

I'm just asking to figure out if I should get loaded calipers or semi and get my own pads, I just got hawks HPS pads for the OE doh!

Can anyone with this current setup chime in? thanks

I don't have a 2G CL, but I know your Hawk pads won't fit the NSX calipers.

I run ceramic pads just because they're nearly dust free.

It does not answer your question; however, I'm using the Hawk HB366F.681 HPS pads in my Legend calipers. They were the same pads I transferred from my OEM single pot calipers when I upgraded to the Legends, IIRC, back in 08.

I tried to put a spare set of NSX pads on my cousins '01 TL and found they're different. For one, the NSX pads are quite a bit thicker than the TL's. From what I've read, the 2g TL and CL have the same brake system.

You can check the part numbers, but I doubt you'll find any that match.

The only thing I can think of, is that the CL pad is thinner so it might slide in. I don't remember if the overall shape is the same. So I take that back. CL pads might fit the NSX calipers.
