Of all the gin joints in all the world... Casablanca is probably the last place you would expect to find a new supercar being built. But unlike in the famous movie, this love affair looks set to have a happy ending.

We found this bright yellow Moroccan monster tucked away in a corner at the Geneva Motor Show, where it was making its world debut. Called the Fulgura – which means lightning in Latin – the awesome-looking machine is the latest project from Casablanca-based company Laraki, the African nation's only car maker. The outrageous two-seater is the work of a yacht designer, 29-year-old Abdeslam Laraki. But the Fulgura, which features a stylish black interior with aluminium trim, is no pipe dream, as a spokesman confirmed to Auto Express that a production version will be ready early next year. While the prototype on display was powered by a Lamborghini Diablo engine, the road-going version is set to have an even more powerful American-sourced 6.0-litre V12, which will deliver more than 700bhp.

I promise anyone that will be able to afford that will have enough money to replace the rim. If I had that car I think I would be amazingly careful of everything on it.

 

Dont forget the new Lambo rear ducts too. Will they still get in trouble for copy infringment.
