a gti 1.8t pulled alongside my 01 cls with headers and icebox at about 60ish on the highway. It was clear for miles so we slow down and both punch it around the same time because my automatic tranny had to downshift he pulled a car in front. I was catching up slowly until i hit 5k in what must have been 3rd gear than (you all know what happened) vtec kicked in and i slingshotted right by and put about 5 cars on him by the time we hit 100. I know i shouldnt brag but i dont get many street encounters and the think the gti had a t least an exhaust.

Nice kill. I was a little skeptical about writing about my SE-R Spec V kill too, but hey, when it's dry and there's not a lot of comparable cars to encounter, a little sport compact is fun to take it's lunch money from.
