These cars are usually made to show what the company is capable of instead of made just for making profits.

Wooped it posted twice can a mod delete one.

Just (now) discovered that mine was unceremoniously gutted this past fall. Like I lost a former family member.

Sounds like someone should have grabbed that Comptech oil cap when they had the chance...

It sold for 11.5 because it was mint and I kept the miles down. Still have the oil cap too

So often, humor, lies or sarcasm simply don't come off well on the internet and this post is a perfect example. Here are some tips to really set off that next post!!

Old reliable, red font:

it sold for 11.5 because it was mint...

Or you may consider italics:

it sold for 11.5 because it was mint

Large font, all caps, while annoying...can be very effective:

IT SOLD FOR 11.5 BECAUSE IT WAS MINT

Finally, consider liberal use of emoticons for a more subtle approach:

" It sold for 11.5 because it was mint "

I hope this helps, best of luck and keep at it!

Wonder if your brother bought my old CL. Traded it in about a month ago. Don't miss it since I barely put 2000 miles on her this year. Didn't want to rush into the 105k service knowing how I am with flipping through cars. Someone bought it last week because the dealer removed the ad. Sounds like mine. 104xxx miles, SSM, 6 speed with navi, comptech ice box, ksport full coilovers and wired for subs/amp.

She wasn't aging as well as I hoped. Knowing the dealer if they didn't do the service, they also didn't fix the water leak in the trunk or the grinding if you launch and try to get her in second.

For most of the above, nope...don't miss her at all. Dealer gave me 9100 for her along with 1500 for my 1989 Cherokee.

Driving a 2007 Element EX now. Not fast by any means but does everything I want. Not to mention...my other car is a 2008 BMW

lol! I sold the car bro! It's not mine anymore. It probably hasn't been updated yet. Also, right before I let it go I turned the plates in and the new owner ended up getting random plates for the car. The new owner is on this board but he's not active. I could care less about the car. It was clean when I sold it and the title was not salvaged as well. However, maybe it was salvaged but somehow turned into a clean title like you are saying. When I bought it though the title didn't say salvaged. Frankly I don't really care anymore. I'm done with fwd hondas.

Man, you're still going to ride out on your lie after I uncovered all this?

You know DAMN well the new owner isn't on here as if the owner had access to your post history, he would have ran for the hills after seeing the abuse you put the car through. Look at the bright side though, you can go back to whoring your mileage thread on your totalled CL.

I traded my cls6 (with 77000 miles) in on a Mustang on Friday.

Note to anyone thinking of selling their 6 Speed-img_20111125_182923.jpg

I will let you guys know if I regret it at all.

Even though I didn't post much, I learned a lot on this site. Thanks to everyone on here.

BTW: Don't let this get in the way of the Jacob shenanigans

Where did you trade it in at? Color combo on it? I might try to pick it up.

Color combo on it? Looking to pick one up. Found 3 on CL but none were to my liking, hoping this one isn't one of them.

I traded it in at Shults Ford in Wexford, PA. I am not sure that they have it for sale yet.

Edit: I guess they just listed it: http://www.shultswexford.com/Preowne...X3A010089.aspx

What did they actually give you on tradein out of curiousity? This could help any potential members on the forum on negotiations.

One question though... Why would you sell 6mt Z06 to get an automatic GT-R plans on modding ?

I was having some issues with the Z06. Stupid crap was breaking (like the main drive belt tensioner snapping off, ecu burning up, etc) and I was tired of it. Also, I really liked everything about the GTR other than the tranny which wasn't as bad in person as I thought it would be. It feels absolutely nothing like a regular auto. It is modded, I already have it making around 500 whp. Next are downpipes and a custom tune...around 560 whp on pump at that point

I remember going for a test drive in a C5 thinking the power and styling were ok nice. But after looking at the engine the salesman couldn't get the hood to stay closed. I figured I would give American cars another decade or so to mature.

The graphite color on the GTR is most attractive. I've seen white and blue at the dealers, but this metallic gray sets off the car's lines very well. Congrats.

Wow, apparently damning evidence. But then the extent to which this has been taken is pretty odd on several levels. We can see the guy has an obviously 'rich' (maybe even crazy/deceitful) inner life, but this is rather invasive. Apparently I don't know all the back story, but this seems like a lot of effort to go to?
