looks like oil leaks from spark plug tube seal.
valve cover gasket is leaking too? I guess it's time to
replace valve cover gaskets. and why bosch?

What car? A CLS don't use those. Clean up & install to correct spec'd plugs.

The valve cover gasket is most likely not leaking too but,if one's seal is leaking the others are sure to follow if not replaced.

Might have been a spill from a sloppy oil change but more likely the seal is shot. Clean it up and see if you get the oil build up again.

If the Bosch plugs have been working ok for this long I'd leave them alone.

I would change the plugs to NGK and get a valve cover gasket kit with the grommets. Should be about $30 and should have tube seals, top grommets, and valve cover gaskets. When you change it, clean out the intake manifold and thorttle body.

I don't get why all these people use differen't brand plugs for Honda/Acura.....NGK#6994/IZFR6K-11 is what your suppose to use. Anything else, your on your own.

Honda/Acura: NGK
Toyota: NGK or Denso
VW: NGK from what my VW tech tells me now
Ford: Motorcraft
Chevy: AC Delco

NGK is really the mostly used brand for imports and even some Euro's.

hey sac dude,

I wanna say tube seals are going bad. Also make the change to NGK, those are the right plugs for our cars. How many miles on the engine? 105k service done on it yet?

the deal charges like 150ish i think i asked before i did mine. i was like i think i can handle it myself..... but the back isnt too bad. i got the NGKs love them they last and are recommended. i do believe that in the owners manual and maybe under the hood(not 100% sure) it has the NGK number. but ya the deal will charge an arm and a leg for a simple job. just tough it out

i havent done it personally but I got my mech to change them as part of the 105k. I know you have to take off the intake mani and the valve covers. but by that time, might as well do a valve adjustment, plugs, valve cover seals and thermoblock spacers if not replacing the gaskets.

best ones are the NGK Lazer iridiums. They are pretty pricey though but thats OEM stuff and will lask another 105k.

my tubes were still good but I never touched the plugs before.
