a little news

Well while doing random stuff on the net i came across this article. Just thought I share this since it does include the CL. So take the time and read a little ahahah, just wondering what are your opinions on it?

its been discussed. originally it was only covering the TL and accord but that didnt make sense since the CL uses the same airbag. Not sure if any members from the TL or Cl side got any airbag letters yet.

Ha sorry man, I beat you too it. Don't you know you get points for being the first to post new info. Maybe you'll beat me next time. Lol, glad to see you're concerned and wanted other people to know about this.

03s have a different airbag design, dual stage.

Not sure if this helps, but i had my airbag go off a few years ago and the only injury I got was the burn from the bag coming out (grabbed steering wheel with both hands to brace for impact before he hit me). Was replaced and haven't had any problems or received a letter.

I think it's only the passenger airbag and not the drivers one.

this article is american tho and does not affect the same cars in canada.

I just got off the phone with acura customer service and they said for canada... TLs and ELs are the cars with that potential problem. Not CLs

so this makes me feel a lil better :-)
