In the following order... Unbolt plate holder, remove, reinsert bolts for safe keeping, pick up plate & holder, walk to nearest trash can, open lid (skip this part if necessary), drop in plate & bracket, close lid and walk away with big grin (like this: ) on face. Done.

Now stand back and admire your handy work.

They will all tell you the same. I promise. The front plate ruins the nose of the car. Here in CO, we are required to run a front plate by law. However, it looks so bad on the front of the CL, I only ran one briefly.

Same here, looks worse than with the plate on, and aside from the two gaping holes where it was screwed in. Not about to get the bumper worked on and painted just for that.

My first bumper was ruined as well by the front plate. With my new front bumper, I just zip-tied the plate into the lower grill. Looks goofy but I'd rather have that than damage my bumper.

Just because its the "LAW" doesn't mean you have to "follow" it!!!!!! lol I had mine on for about 2 days before I realized how terrible it looked.

_Taking it off is one of the few, perhaps even only things you can do to your CL for FREE to make it look better!!

There's no way another plate bracket is fucking up my bumper now that it's brand new.

I say NO too.

Looks bad, but I wouldnt want the black lines there either. I awit until you can get the front bumper cleaned up before removing or repositioning it.
