Hi i was wondering with all of you on Nos where did you get the kit from, what kind of kit...cheater big shot.., and how much of a shot can we use safely and how much does the kit cost...also do u have to retard the timing or anything to make it run right on street and when runing nos doi u need a msd ignition or what....sorry about the questions but im wanting some nos very bad...thanx in advanced Mike

 

Get a ZEX or NOS kit. Safest is 55 hp jets, but maybe 65 if you're crazy. Kits are around $400 on ebay. New ones at shops might charge you up to $500 but shop around. It depends on bottle size, options (blanket, purger kits) and each refill is around $50 i believe. a 10 lb bottle will last 2 minutes if you intend on remaining full throttle that long!!! i know totally stock cars can use it without altering any other components. there are terrible stories about unsafe NOS usage though.

 

NOS is for the 12sec.run down the dragstrip! You can add programers to inject another spray of NOS at just right time to enchance your run. To much NOS on a stock engine will reduce it to junk like right now! Be careful!
