NOS, CEL and no 2nd->3rd shift
Ok, this is the third time this has happened. When using my 75 shot Zex kit, pressure is > 700 or so, and VSA off, my car won't shift out of 2nd gear, SS or gate. After about 10 seconds w/o NOS and driving normally, the car shifts normally once again except for the CEL light stays on for a few minutes. May be related to a too lean condition? Ordering my obd2 harness today so will easily see, but it seems like something's not right. Anyone else running NOS experiencing this? May have to get an aftermarket FPR and fuel pump?
This is somewhat normal on our automatic tranny cars that are boosted/sprayed. However I never got a CEL thrown. The car wouldn't shift at all until the revs dropped below 5000 or 5500 rpm (I don't remember which).
On my car it happened whenever I lost traction at the top of first and during the second gear shift with VSA off. If I had traction throughout first and second it always shifted.

it happens to me no boost no nitro..but now much less and not as long now that ive got the oil jet kit...one way to get it out right away is to shift into neutral and back into drive or SS ...it will come out of gear ...im 99.9 that youre cel is unrelated

Damn, that sucks. So no real solution huh? I just gotta go to the tracks and take a chance of makin' ass of myself puttin' down the quarter in 2nd gear. I'm gonna order my obd2 this week and read the scan codes and let you know if anything pops up.

Got the same issue as well on occasion.. 2nd gear has to drop below 5k before you can shift it manually or swich it to d5 and let off the gas... The car shift into 3rd and then into 4th....

Under spray my car has thrown codes numerous times. I haven't had the problem of shifting but only once. I think it involves throwing a tranny code due to the increase power preventing the tq from locking up. The car also goes into saftey mode with this code and therefore cuts power to the engine immediately. You can use a OBD2 scanner to read the code and clear it or in these cases turn off the car and it will clear itself, unlike some other engine codes.
