I think it's kinda funny. But also helpful to see what someone else thinks about this product.

My current car drives the same as my old 6mt.
A dyno will prove this & I may do one next week. I have the dyno from the CT setup saved.
So you have these headers now? and used to have comptech? which one is pulling in first gear? I'm confused

yes they do fit the six that is why one of the rear header pipes is bent.

stealth,
I am going to install mine myself. there are instructions on the board in a thread called "All DIY header installers....." cut and paste it in the search. the torque specs are in the end of that thread as well. if you read it you will see that it is really hard to get a torque wrench in there and most are just eyeballing it. however, the header bolts are 25ft/lb, header to apipe 44ft/lb, and apipe to cat 25ft/lt. note that these are wet specs. that means that they have to be wet with a little bit of motor oil when tightened. I dont know why.

I dont know anything about the DC header.

Its possible that the power gains from CT headers are more then the XSPower's. Have anyone measured the I.D of the CT headers compared to the XS? Im guessing maybe the Primaries are a different diameter, just a thought

Lord Helmet, you have INJEN intake!!! How are they?? What made you chose them over CT or AEM?

And are those headers still working good?

just wanted to let you all know that i got my headers and intalled them today. i just got back from from test driving them. there is difinitely a difference. the car does pull alittle harder (i didn't really push that hard). the quality of the header is no comptech but like everyone else says "it's worth the 100+ dollars". i used the factory gaskets and the nuts and bolts from xs power. the nuts and bolts from xs power are GARBAGE. get better ones from a local hardware store. everyone of them stripped as i went to tighten them. now i can't take them off or tighten them. but it doesnt seem to be a problem. Overall, quality is what you pay for, performance is noticeable. aside from the srtipped bolts stuck on the headers i'm pretty satisfied.

I think im ganna throw my Megans away and get these instead..they sound better than the Megans since there is no resonance...

The only advice that you guys have with these is to keep the stock gaskets and get new bolts right?

And are there any good shops in NY where I can get this done?

I just recieved my XSPower headers for my CLS6 from SSAutoChrome. I got these shipped to my house from ebay for 154 bucks, cant be that, and they arrived in two days!!!After opening the box and checking out the headers I realized that the quality was wonderful, kinda like the pictures posted above. All the welds around the flanges were nice, they also smoothed out the area where the primaries meet the flanges in all openings of the headers I am not going to use the gaskets the headers provided i went ahead and got the gaskets straight from acura, which i recommend if your doing this. The gaskets that come with the headers just dont seem to be on par with acura quality. I think im going to get these installed this weekend at a shop. Any veterans with this install know how hard it is to do by yourself? Tips, for if i wanted to do it myself. I really dont think it would be that hard to do, just time consuming. And yes I do know how to work on vechiles. After the install I might actually get it to a dyno!!!

Hardest part is getting the old bolts off. After that it's easy.

Please do!

The guy that installed everything on my CL told me it would be a bitch to put on the header in the back because you have to move alot just to get to them. That is probably gonna be the most time consuming part of the job and the most annoying.

i did the install myself. it wasn't too bad, provided that you have the right tools. it's pretty straight forward. like fuzzy said, hardest part is getting the factory bolts off. remember to use better nuts and bolts than the ones from ss autochrome. good luck and please post your dyno results.

I've never been to an aftermarket tuner shop for any mods Ive put on either of my cars. I usually search the internet, this is what i did for my XSpower headers and my AEM intake. If you want a tuner shop with Acura experience i should suggest looking up Excellerate, hes a dealer on the boards.

Any repair shop can do the work for you but prices will range vastly from one to the next. That's why I did mine myself. It would have cost me more than I paid for teh headers to have them installed by a shop. To hell with that!

Sorry to jack this thread but this is somewhat relevant.

I found this auction on e-bay. It states DCS-S, which would lead you to believe that it is DC Sports, but I think they are trying to mislead. Your thoughts?

But it's cheap. $68 Buy It Now.

Those look like Megans or something. They don't look like DC's to be but i've been wrong before.

Just giving an update on my XSPower header install on my 6speed. First of all i will say that i started the install on saturday afternoon, and the car will still be worked on this monday afternoon, once i get off work. I started this project thinking it wouldnt take more then 3 hours, boy was I wrong. The front manifold came off with a breeze as well the the downpipe bolts that connected to the front and rear manifold!!! THEN i got to the downpipe flange bolts where it connects to the cat. This is where all my progress seemed to come to a halt. The bolts on the cat seemed to be welded to the cat flange, so the only thing that can be removed is the nuts. I cant remember the nuts socket size either (9/16 or 14mm) but i couldnt get it to budge even with an extension bar. Next i tried a electric hammer drill and that didnt work. I noticed the nuts were starting to show signs of rounding, which was depressing. Well once i get off work today im going to heat the nuts up with a torch, and i might try some air tools. If that doesnt work it looks like im going to break out the grinder and cut the nut off. I didnt realize this project was going to take so long or I would of just payed a mechanic to deal with it.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for getting the nut off the welded bolt thats on the cat flange???Did anyone torque down all the bolts to spec when putting the headers on? If so, can someone PM me the torque specs and just post a response here

Tq specs are in the header FAQ.
Strange the cat bolts are hard to get off for you. Those were easy on mine. I had trouble with the down pipe bolts. May want to hit them with some PB Blaster. That's what I did, soaked all the bolts for 3 days before I started.
